Ocean Rescue in Round the World Yacht Race

31 year old skipper Piers Dudin has broken his leg while sailing in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. Dudin had been racing the yacht Hull & Humber across the Pacific for over ten days when he accidentally fell, resulting in a serious open fracture to his right leg. When the accident occured, the Hull & Humber crew were on their way from Qingdao, China, to San Francisco, USA.
